Introduction:

The VTCT Skills Level 4 Award in Eyelid Micropigmentation Techniques is an advanced aesthetic qualification aimed at level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over who wish to add micropigmentation techniques for the eyelid area to their repertoire of treatment offerings.

Learners are required to hold a level 3 beauty therapy or equivalent qualification that includes level 3 anatomy and physiology, or the level 3 certificate in access to aesthetic therapies.

Prerequisite: Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.

What does this qualification cover?

The aim of this qualification is to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of relevant requirements, regulations and safe practice treatment protocols for the use of micropigmentation techniques in the eyelid area. Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, establish their suitability for treatment and formulate a specific treatment plan tailored to suit individual needs. Learners will also be able to provide specific aftercare and home care advice.

Learners must achieve the following mandatory unit:

• Enhance appearance of eyes using micropigmentation techniques

We ask that you wear a therapist tunic to your courses.
