Description 

Radio frequency (RF) treatment is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses energy waves to heat the deep, collagen-rich layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and tightening skin without downtime. It is commonly used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, and saggy skin on the face, neck, and body.

How does RF + Microneedling benefit the Skin?

Radiofrequency (RF) energy is delivered to the skin via a conductive gel, allowing controlled penetration into the dermal layers while minimising epidermal disruption. The energy induces thermal heating within the dermis, primarily through interaction with tissue water and ionic activity.
This controlled thermal effect stimulates a wound-healing cascade, promoting neocollagenesis and collagen remodelling, while also contributing to elastin fibre contraction. These processes result in improved skin laxity and dermal density over time.

Additionally, RF treatment enhances local microcirculation, supporting increased oxygen and nutrient delivery to the tissue. This contributes to improved skin quality and may assist in the reduction of acne and superficial scarring.
